1. Skywalk, Pelling

Inaugurated in 2018, Pelling skywalk is India’s second sky walk bridge, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Located near the famous giant Chenrezig statue Pelling, this transparent glass bridge Pelling provides a thrilling experience as you walk above the deep valley below. The Pelling sky walk is lined with golden prayer wheels, adding a spiritual touch to the adventure. There are many other temples and beautiful places nearby that you should explore. 2. Sidkeong Tulku Bird Park

Pelling Bird Park is one of the best Bird Park you will ever visit. This bird sanctuary is home to different variety of exotic and native Himalayan bird species including Himalayan Monal, Blood Pheasant (Sikkim’s state bird), and various species of hornbills and flycatchers. Bird Park Pelling is covered with dense forest in Mountains, making it a perfect place for peaceful forest retreat. If you are a nature lover and wants to see beautiful birds that you may not be able to watch anywhere else then, Sidkeong Tulku Bird Park will be a paradise for you. Entry ticket will cost you ₹ 100 if you are Indian and ₹ 200 if you are foreigner. 

3. Rabdentse Ruins

Rabdentse Ruins, Pelling are the remnants of the second capital of the former Kingdom of Sikkim (1670–1814). You can visit here after visiting Bird Park it’s short hike of 15-20 minutes through a dense forest or walk through a forested trail of 15-20 minutes from Pemayangtse Monastery will also lead you to the ruins of Rabdentse Palace. You do not need to buy any ticket for entering here. It’s a perfect place for people interested in history as well as people who wants to be close to nature.  

4. Kanchenjunga Falls

Kanchenjunga Waterfall is one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the Himalayas and Sikkim. It originates from the glaciers of Mt. Kanchenjunga, third highest mountain in the world. This majestic waterfall cascades down multi-tiered rocky cliffs, creating a powerful and mesmerizing sight. You need to go on a short hike via steps to reach its base. Try crossing wooden bridges for better view and an adventurous experience. 

5. Khecheopalri Lake

Nestled amidst dense forests, Khecheopalri Lake is a sacred and serene water body revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. Locally it is also called as wish full filling lake and believed that all the sincere wishes made here come true. Despite being surrounded by dense forest you will not find a single a leaf floating on the water, it is believed that birds remove all the leaves from the sacred lake. The lake is a peaceful place adorned with Buddhist prayer flags, and a small wooden jetty allows visitors to get closer to the water. It is also a great place for bird watching and for nature lovers. 

6. Singshore Bridge

Singshore Bridge, Pelling is the highest suspension bridge in Sikkim and the second highest suspension bridge in Asia. This suspension bridge offers a breathtaking view of deep green valleys, and cascading waterfalls. It is an engineering marvel is perfect for capturing magical landscape of the Himalayas. Walking across the bridge with strong winds flowing through you will give you a thrilling experience. 

7. Monasteries

Pelling has many ancient and important monasteries that you should visit for a spiritual, peaceful as well as for a historical experience. Monasteries like Pemayangtse Monastery – one of the oldest Monasteries of Sikkim, Sangachoeling Monastery – ancient Monastery and many other beautiful Monasteries. You will get to understand Buddhist culture. 

8. Orange Gardens

Pelling and its surrounding areas, especially Rimbi and Dentam, are known for their beautiful orange orchards. Peak orange season is from November to January, if you are during this time, you can enjoy tasty and fresh oranges directly from farm and yes, don’t forget to enjoy tasty orange juices. Go on a peaceful walk, talk to local farmers to have a better experience.
