Located on the coastal region of Arabian Sea, Malvan offers lots of sea foods and non-vegetarian foods. The most iconic and famous non veg option in Malvan is Bombil Fry (Bombay Duck Fry). You should try Amboli (Soft, fermented rice-urad dal pancake served with chutney or curry), Ghavane (Net‑patterned rice flour pancake with chutney), Dhondas (Sweet semolina-cucumber cake flavored with jaggery), Khaproli (traditional Fluffy pancakes dipped in sweet coconut milk), and Thandalachi Bhakri (tastes very good with curries).

4. Beverages and Deserts You can not Miss
You will get some of the best Maharashtrian beverages in Malvan. The most famous and must have one is Solkadhi or Solkadi it’s a cooling digestive drink made with coconut milk and kokum; you should have this with your meal. Modak or Ukadiche Modak it is a steamed sweet dumpling made of rice flour, coconut, jaggery (especial during festivals). Malupa or Malvani Malupa these are deep fried sweet pancakes.

- Malvan is very famous for its Cashew. So, buy some Malvani cashew and try some foods made from cashew.
- Malvani Masala, is also very tasty and well known. There are around 15-16 Malvani spices including coconut, dried chilies, coriander, and kokum.
- Coconut and Kokam: You will find coconut in almost every food here. Coconut and Kokam are must in every food. Especially Kokam which is like a soul of food here.
