Cherry Blossom Meghalaya is mostly celebrated in Shillong when the streets and hills are covered with pink and white layers of flowers of Prunus cerasoides. Cherry blossom in Shillong is celebrated through the India International cherry blossom festival which is celebrated each year in during cherry blooming season that is in November. It is a unique event showcasing cultural performances, live music, art exhibits, and local delicacies. You can also find the cherry blossom festival in other parts of Meghalaya.
